All Homework Assignments are written on that days date in your child's Agenda:
Word Study:
New words are sent home on Monday to be sorted by vowel sounds and written twice. Students are given a differentiated list based on their mastery with words.
Tuesday and Wednesday Word Study Homework is the completion of two activities chosen from the "Word Study Assignment" list of choices.

Reading:
Students should read at least 20 minutes an evening and record it in their reading log. Any additional reading assignments will be specified in their agenda.
Math:
Math assignments will be written in the agenda. As the year progresses these assignments will increase in frequency.
We are starting our Multiplication Challenge very soon. Look for details outlined on a pink sheet in your child's "Tuesday Folder". Practice of Multiplication Facts is extremely important to your child's math progress for this year and those to come!
Science and Social Studies Homework should be assigned only 1-2 days per week, alternately. Check your child's agenda daily.
